An introduction

Behaviour Log has been developed for mainstream schools as an evaluation tool, allowing teachers to monitor the impact and effectiveness of strategies being used to address any social, emotional or behavioural difficulties.

Bringing together all aspects relating to behaviour and behaviour management, the system combines details of pupil incidents, incident outcomes and strategies used to manage the behaviour. This provides teachers with the facility to assess progress by comparing incident rates before and after specific strategies have been introduced.

By monitoring the Behaviour Log, teachers have continual feedback on pupil progress towards identified behavioural targets and developing positive teacher-pupil relations.
